Her background as an artist started very young. She has a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts,
and painted for many years in the Boston Area, before moving to the Catskill Mountains in
New York. She painted and ran art Galleries there for 10 years then relocated in Florida in
the fall of 2006. She lives in Lakeland painting murals, southern scenes, and faux finishes.

Betty enjoys doing commissions of oil paintings, and likes the challenge of painting new things. The
art work is reasonably priced for the market. She also paints abstract panels which can be seen upon
request. Another favorite is oriental style which will soon be on this site. She studied Chinese painting
at Harvard University for a year, and loves the freeness of expression in ink brush work.
