Her background as an artist started very young, drawing horses on the farm, at seven
years old.  She was a regional artist in Western New York painting landscapes and
historical scenes from 1968-1974. She has a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, from Alfred
University, College of Art and Design in 1980, graduating with High Honors. She attended
Harverd University Graduate School, studying Chinese Painting, poetry, and philosophy in
the early eighties. She painted faux finishes, MURALS, and was a painting contractor in the
Boston area for 14 years. In 1994 she came to the Catskill Mountains to paint landscapes.
She directed several art galleries in the area. She is presently Vice President on Indian
Head Mountain Arts in the Catskill Mountains .She lives in Tampa and Lakeland, Florida, in
the winter, and in the Catskill Mountains in the summer. She does custom painting in both
areas, with her specialty being Hand Painted Murals of all subjects.
